GLAAD @ La Cage Aux Folles :: June 24, 2010
What better or bigger way to celebrate gayness in New York City then seeing La Cage Aux Folles, the gayest play on the Great White Way, winner of three 2010 Tony awards. Then going out for some drinks and laughs with the cast, including Kelsey Grammer. Well, that’s exactly what GLADD, The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, did last week. EDGE had exclusive access to this fun soiree.

Barefoot Pride Celebration :: June 23, 2010
Not all Pride week parties are created equal...and Barefoot wines knows just how to do it. One of the most gay friendly companies out there,they had a real celebration, featuring Pandora Boxx from Logo’s new show "RuPaul’s Drag U" and singer/songwriter Josie Cotton of "Johnny, Are you Queer" fame plus spinning by DJ Keo Nozari.
St. Pete Pride Parade Part II :: June 26, 2010
Today we commemorate the bravery of the Stonewall rioters with a parade on the last Saturday of June. This tradition started in 1970 with a couple of large cities, New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. It has since become a focal point for the solidarity of our community across the nation. The City of St. Petersburg has been celebrating its GLBT community with a Pride Parade for the last eight years. Within this relatively short amount of time, St. Pete Pride has grown into one of the largest Pride events in the southeast and is the largest Pride event in the state of Florida. What started as a few thousand native Floridians and a couple city blocks on beautiful Central Avenue has become an international attraction, spanning eight blocks and attracting tens of thousands of people.
Toronto Gay Pride Throws Few Sparks, Leaves Happy Glow
Pro- and anti-Israel groups, along with a coalition forged to protect free speech, threw just a few sparks at Toronto’s Pride on July 4.
SouthCoast Equality’s Pride Festival in New Bedford :: June 26, 2010
SouthCoast Equality hosted their 3rd Annual Pride Festival in New Bedford, Mass downtown in the Court House Square. With live entertainment, and guests from Rhode Island and the Massachusetts South Coast, fun was had by all.

The very first Next magazine Pride Photo contest received more than 200 images. A esteemed group of sharp judges narrowed them down to the 10 best and, to celebrate them, they threw a fun cocktail party at the Leslie Lohman gallery.

Brooklyn to finally get its own LGBT community center
The Brooklyn Community Pride Center, which currently operates out of Borough Hall, continues the process of securing its own facility in order to better serve the roughly 250,000 LGBT people who live in Kings County.

The New York Pride celebration took to Pier 54 during the afternoon hours - and as the heat waned, the hotness on the dance floor climbed. Steve Oliveri and Freemasons provided the music, and diva Ultra Nate made a guest appearance. Check out the pics!
