Florida USofA Newcomer Pageant :: June 25, 2010
Florida USofA Newcomer Pageant was held at Honey Pot in Ybor City. The winner of the pagent was Alissa Summers, 1st runner up was Shelita Taylor, and 2nd runner up was Nikki Summers. The beautiful girls and great entertainment made for a wonderful time. EDGE has the photos for your enjoyment.
Gay pride marchers celebrate with parades, parties
Thousands of marchers and a rainbow of floats filled the streets of New York and other U.S. cities on Sunday as people celebrated gay pride, part of a weekend of events marred by a shooting death Saturday at a street party in San Francisco.
Bulgarians join Gay Pride march to promote tolerance
Some 200 gays and lesbians, dozens of human rights activists and many heterosexual Bulgarians marched in Sofia Saturday to promote tolerance at a Gay Pride that has been slammed by the Orthodox Church.
Major League Athletes March in Chicago Pride
Chicago’s Pride celebration was attended by nearly half a million people, including a few celebrities such as newly out country singer Chely Wright. What made the event stand out, however, was the fact that major sports figures were also part of the celebration.
2010 Chicago Pride Fest :: June 26, 2010
Edge made it to the 2nd day of the 8th Annual Chicago Pride Fest sponsored by Northalsted Business Alliance. We caught the performances by Taylor Dayne, Amber, Frenchie Davis, Sophie May and Inaya Day, the cover boy contest and lots of folks on the street.

EDGE kicked off the Pride fun with its own mixer at Splash Bar. The event was a night of friendship and pride drinks where gay and straight friends of the publication came together to celebrate homosexuality, gay rights and just plain fun and the great concept of equality for all - Check out EDGE’s Pride Celebration here!

The ever popular Mirabar Block Party on Richmond Street didn’t disappoint this year.The three floors inside were hot, hot, hot (literally!!!). And the action outside never died down.
Beach Party @ The Stable June 19, 2010
With a front row seat for the RI Pride Illuminated Night Parade, The Stable was packed. So packed we couldn’t get in to get pics! We visited again later to catch folks enjoying the Beach Party.
Pride Block Party @ Union & The Providence Eagle :: June 19, 2010
Jackie Collins hosted this year’s Pride Block party at the Union & Eagle. With a record crowd in attendance everyone had a good time enjoying the entertainment, the company and the wonderful weather.
Comic Jessica Kirson has what it takes
New York comic Jessica Kirson has been tearing it up on stages across the country for just over a decade and appears to have the comedic chops needed for staying power in what’s become a crowded field. It doesn’t hurt that comedy seems to run in the family - her stepbrother, Zach Braff, is just part of a gregarious group that’s helped inspire many of the characters she brings to life during her act. Just before arriving in Chicago for an appearance on Pride weekend, Kirson took some time to speak with EDGE on the challenges of achieving success as an out in the comedy industry and why you’ve never seen a comic quite like her.

The biggest party of the Pride Night was at the Dark Lady. One-half of the "Snow Ball" party was the big show hosted by Kitty Litter. With the fabulous team of entertainers Dark lady was able to raise needed funds for AIDS Care Ocean State.

The fun party Pride Night was the 2nd half of the "Snow Ball" at Alley Cat. With the Foam Party in full swing everyone was getting crazy having loads of fun. What a way to end the night.
Gay Pride Rally :: June 19, 2010
A staple in the NYC Pride celebrations, the Rally moved from Bryan Park, where it was held since 1997 to the Summer stage in Central Park officially kicking off all the Pride week events. Hosted by Vicky Shaw and Bruce Valanch and featuring performers and political and motivational speakers from Lt. Dan Choi and Ian Harvie, a female-to- male comedian to Ari Gold and Martha Wash.
Boston Harbor Sunset Cruise 2010 :: June 24, 2010
This year’s cruise, a benefit for Fenway Community Health sponsored by Boston Spirit and Ptown Parties, was completely sold out. And with good reason: the weather was absolutely perfect for a warm early summer outing in the harbor. EDGE was aboard - here are the pics!

Kink was in high regard at this year’s sexiest street festival, Folsom Street East. The fetish-grabed crowd took to the streets of Manhattan on June 20th to celebrate alternative sexualities, co-hosted by porn favorite Mike Dreyden and NYC’s queen-of-queens Peppermint. 34th Annual Rhode Island Pride Festival :: June 19, 2010
It was a beautiful day Saturday in Providence for the 34th Annual Pride Festival. This year the festival was right on the river with numerous vendors, and hours of entertainment. Headliner Pop Music Sensation Amber closed down the day with a fabulous set that had everyone on their feet.

RI Pride’s Hung Over Drag Brunch @ Downcity :: June 20, 2010
After all the parties that went early into the morning Sunday, somehow Jacqueline, Savannah, Chrystal and Victoria managed to make it to Downcity for the traditional day-after-Pride Hung Over Drag Brunch. And boy were folks hung over or just plain tired from Saturday’s activities. Yet we all came together to make a memorable time and a lot of fun pictures for you to enjoy.
