In what the Slovakian press is calling "a day of shame," that nation’s first Pride march was broken up by neo-Nazi Groups, who attacked marchers with eggs, tear gas, and their fists. In the wake of the attack, the full-scale Pride parade, which had been scheduled to take place subsequent to the rally and march, was cancelled due to security concerns.

New Hope Celebrates presented the 7th Annual Pride Parade...The theme this year was "It’s a Family Affair," The parade ambled, tooted and trotted down Ferry and So. Main Streets in the borough. The parade was filled with music from bands such as the Philadelphia Freedom Band, floats, flag-twirlers, colorful entertainers including the DC Cowboys, as well as families and many friends of the GLTB and allied community. With hundreds of people lining the parade route on the sunny Saturday, Edge was in the front of it all for these photo’s.

Canadian Gov’t Denies Funds to Toronto Pride
