Strict policing, no arrests at Moscow gay parades
Two Gay Pride parades were held without arrests in Moscow on Saturday, the first time the notoriously intolerant Russian authorities have not intervened since the inaugural attempt to hold the event in the capital in 2006.
Neo-Nazis Break up Slovakia’s 1st Gay Pride March
In what the Slovakian press is calling "a day of shame," that nation’s first Pride march was broken up by neo-Nazi Groups, who attacked marchers with eggs, tear gas, and their fists. In the wake of the attack, the full-scale Pride parade, which had been scheduled to take place subsequent to the rally and march, was cancelled due to security concerns.

Long Beach Pride Parade :: May 15, 2010
The 23rd annual Long Beach Pride Parade traveled down Ocean Boulevard to a cheering crowd of People. There were thousands in attendance, with as many as 200 floats in this fun filled parade, helping to celebrate Gay and Lesbian Pride. EDGE has the photos for you to enjoy.
Police Rough Up, Arrest Pride Marchers in Former Soviet Republic
Pride demonstrators in Minsk engaged in a game of cat-and-mouse with police and anti-gay protestors over the weekend. Bloggers reporting on the improptu Pride marches that took place in the city, which is located in the former Soviet nation of Belarus.
New Hope Celebrates the 7th Annual Pride Parade :: May 16, 2010
New Hope Celebrates presented the 7th Annual Pride Parade...The theme this year was "It’s a Family Affair," The parade ambled, tooted and trotted down Ferry and So. Main Streets in the borough. The parade was filled with music from bands such as the Philadelphia Freedom Band, floats, flag-twirlers, colorful entertainers including the DC Cowboys, as well as families and many friends of the GLTB and allied community. With hundreds of people lining the parade route on the sunny Saturday, Edge was in the front of it all for these photo’s.
Canadian Gov’t Denies Funds to Toronto Pride
Toronto Pride will not be receiving any federal money from Canada’s conservative government following last year’s flap after the event received more than $350,000 of stimulus funds. Moreover, the event faces a loss of city funds.
