2007 Rhode Island Pride Drag Brunch :: June 17, 2007
As the final event of a wild 31st Pride Festival, the RI Pride Committee with the help of Tazza Restaurant in Providence held the annual Hung-Over Drag Brunch. With Frenchie Davis joining the feast, and a bit of the hair-of-the-dog, it was a fun way to finish up the weekend. Here are the pics!
Religious groups take lead for NY gay pride
Religious groups led the city’s gay pride parade on Sunday, lending gravity to an often outrageous event that also featured a jumble of drag queens in feather boas, marching bands, motorcycle-riding lesbians, rugby players and samba dancers.

Ant Brings Queer Stand-Up to Pride Fest
After being challenged by Dustin Diamond (TV’s Screech) to a brawl on VH1’s hit reality series Celebrity Fit Club, you’d think comedian Ant would be ready to call it quits. But he’s working harder than ever now, appearing on Last Comic Standing and his own LOGO show "U.S. of Ant." This weekend he jumpstarts the Stonewall Festival with a pre-pride performance entitled, "3 Jokers." Arrests, protests overshadow Jerusalem Gay Pride
Hundreds of cheering gay activists marched through downtown Jerusalem on Thursday, while ultra-Orthodox Jews held a counterdemonstration across the city, burning tires and chanting psalms.

Boston Pride Wrapup :: We all had a ball at Boston City Hall
Lesbian librarians, leather queens and all those Unitarians. The Boston Pride parade just wouldn’t be as smart, sexy or spiritual without the marchers who have populated the annual extravaganza for ages, and plenty of them took to the streets on June 9. Nonetheless, this year’s Boston Pride offered up plenty of the new and different, from a new route that took marchers past the State House, to the first-ever participation of a sitting governor in the parade and a festival on City Hall Plaza.
Marriage fight casts shadow over historic Pride Interfaith Service
Stepping to the pulpit after the six-member Union United Methodist Church Men’s Choir brought the hand-clapping congregation to its feet with a joyful rendition of the spiritual "I Love To Praise His Holy Name," Drayton Freeman, co-chair of the Boston Pride Interfaith Coalition offered an apology as people settled back onto the cushioned pews of the South End church. "I realize having an Episcopalian following that is probably lethal," said Freeman.
