Cher excited fans Tuesday when she took to Twitter and hinted she recorded new music. The music icon wrote she "walked out of studio" and "put two songs down." But in a tweet from early Wednesday morning, Cher said she's working on a new record.

As she mentions in her tweet, Cher, 70, will work on the LP after her appearances at two fundraisers for Hillary Clinton later this month. She's slated to be in Fire Island on August 20 for the Clinton event, which will have an LGBT focus. The "Turn Back Time" singer will also be in Provincetown on August 21 for another LGBT-focused Clinton fundraiser.

Cher's upcoming music will be her 26th studio record and her first album since "Closer to the Truth," which was released in 2013.
