PopUps: One Direction's Niall Horan Says Group 'Will Be Back'

One Direction might not be over.

The British boy band has been on a hiatus since January, after releasing their fifth album, with Zayn Malik officially leaving the group in March. While the men are currently working on solo projects, Naill Horan offered 1D fans some good news when he spoke with the British newspaper Sunday People.

In an interview, Horan said the group "will be back. We would be silly not to..ridiculous."

Malik was the first to release a solo album this year. Harry Styles is set to star in the new Christopher Nolan war film "Dunkirk," while Horan currently has a solo single out called "This Town." The are also rumors that Styles and Liam Payne are separately working on solo music as well.
