After disappointing fans by canceling the remaining dates of his Purpose tour, Justin Bieber is making things right by releasing a new single this week.

The "Sorry" singer took to social media Monday to announce that he'll have a new song out Thursday called "Friends." It's a collaboration with producer Bloodpop, who has worked with a number of pop stars, including Bieber's "Purpose" album.

On Twitter, Bieber wrote "Can we still be friends. New music. Thursday noon."

"Purpose" was released in 2015 and earned a number of Grammy nominations.
