PopUps: Frank Ocean Hints at New Music... Again
Frank Ocean is again causing speculation that he may release new music in the not-too-distant future.
It may have taken him over four years to follow up his critically acclaimed debut album "Channel Orange," but it looks like Ocean's third album may be right around the corner. Back in November, the singer teased on his Tumblr that suggests new music could be on the way.
"Well, I made the album before 30," he wrote at the time. "I JUST AINT PUT THAT BITCH OUT!" He added that his quote is "FROM AN INTERVIEW I? HAVEN'T GIVEN HAHA."
Adding fuel to the rumors fire, Ocean again hinted at new music on his Tumblr, Pitchfork notes. The "Pyramids" singer posted a photo of someone wearing a hat that reads, "IF YOU LIKED 2017, YOU'LL LOVE...2018." He also wrote in the post, "new 18-99."
After releasing his sophomore album "Bonde," Ocean released a few one-off singles like "Chanel" and "Provider." He also loaned his vocals on Calvin Harris's song "Slide" and on N.E.R.D.'s new album.
