Music fans are in a bit of a tizzy this week, believing that Britney Spears and Madonna might be working on a collaboration, ABC News reports.

It started when Spears shared a photo on Instagram Tuesday that features pink text that reads "Rebel Heart" — the same name as Madonna's 2015 album. On top of that, the "Slumber Party" singer added the speak no evil monkey emoji as the post's caption.

But it didn't take long for fans to start speculating that the two divas might be reuniting, 17 years after their iconic "Me Against the Music" collab.

Neither pop star has confirmed nor denied fans' suspicions.

Spears' last album "Glory" was released in 2016. Madonna's mostrecent album, "Madame X," arrived last year.
