Ariana Grande surprised fans Wednesday when she took to Twitter to announce her new album will be out this month.

"I can't wait to give u my album this month," the singer simply tweeted.

She didn't provide further details, like the name of the album, if any singles will be released or which day in October the album will drop.

The upcoming project will be Grande's sixth studio album and follows "Thank U, Next," which she released in Feb. 2019 — just a few months after the August 2018 release of her fourth album "Sweetener."

Over the last few weeks, Grande has been teasing fans with videos and photos of herself in the studio. Nevertheless, earlier this year she said she was not planning to release an album anytime soon.

More recently, Grande had a writing credit on the song "Ice Cream" by the K-pop group BLACKPINK; that track featured Selena Gomez. She also has a writing credit on Justin Bieber's new track "Holy," featuring Chance the Rapper, and had a duet with Bieber earlier this year called "Stuck With U," which went to No. 1 on Billboard. On top of that, Grande is featured on Lady Gaga's "Rain on Me," which also went to No. 1.
