Taylor Swift Announces 2nd Surprise Album of 2020 'evermore'
Taylor Swift is shocking fans again by announcing that her second album of 2020 will be out tomorrow.
Back in July, Swift announced that her 8th album, "folklore," would be out a day before its release with very little promotion. Doubling down on that release strategy, she took to social media Thursday morning to reveal her 9th album, "evermore," will be out on Friday.
"I'm elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore's sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It's called evermore," she tweeted.
In another tweet, Swift wrote: "Ever since I was 13, I've been excited about turning 31 because it's my lucky number backwards, which is why I wanted to surprise you with this now. You've all been so caring, supportive and thoughtful on my birthdays and so this time I thought I would give you something!"
The singer also announced that music video for the song "willow" will also be out tomorrow. Check out some of her tweets about the "evermore" project below.
