PopUps: Is Lana Del Rey Engaged? Meet Singer Clayton Johnson
It's been just a few months since it was reported that Lana Del Rey and Sean Larkin, a cop and former host of "Live PD," split up, but it appears as though she might be engaged to musician Clayton Johnson, according to a report from People magazine.
After her performance of her new song "Let Me Love You Like a Woman" on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," fans noticed Del Rey was sporting a large ring on her ring finger and a source told the publication she's engaged to Johnson, 31, adding that the two met on a dating app.
"Johnson and Del Rey started following each other on Instagram back in August. Since then, fans have spotted her appearing on his social media," People writes. "Del Rey and Johnson celebrated Halloween with friends where they wore matching 'The Wizard of Oz' costumes. As she flashed a peace sign for the photo, she was seen wearing a ring on her ring finger."
People goes on to point to other times the duo were spotted together, where Johnson uploaded vids and pics to his Instagram Stories over the last few months.
The magazine writes Johnson "was a vocalist and guitarist of trio The Johnsons, where he used to sing pop-tinged tracks alongside his brothers Chantry and Connor. The trio — originally from Modesto, California — last released 'Call Whenever' in June 2017 on SoundCloud. The trio has not posted on Instagram ever since."
Before that he was in the band Stereo Skyline, which opened for bands like Good Charlotte, Third Eye Blind and Boys Like Girls, according to local newspaper The Modesto Bee.
