Out rapper Lil Nas X gallops through the alphabet with his pony, Panini, in his newly-published children's book, "C is for Country," which has rocketed onto The New York Times bestseller list, People magazine reports.

"X joins the likes of fellow stars including Tiffany Haddish, Trevor Noah, Demi Moore, Mindy Kaling, Gabrielle Union, Tyra Banks, Andy Cohen and more who have received the coveted title" of best-selling author, People noted.

"Random House Kids' official website says the book tells the story of an animated Lil Nas X and Panini the pony (which is named after his popular sandwich-titled song) 'on a joyous journey through the alphabet from sunup to sundown.' "

Though touted as an educational read for ages 3 - 7, fans of all ages might enjoy the book, which draws its title from the genre of music in which Lil Nas X has found his greatest success. As of this month, his country-rap single "Old Town Road" has gone platinum 14 times over, making it the "highest certified song ever by the RIAA, according to Wikipedia.

Fabs are eagerly awaiting his next album, which Nas has teased will include tracks with titles like "Call Me By Your Name," "Titanic," and "Don't Want It." His latest single, "Holiday," released Nov. 13, was an instant hit.

The recording artist announced the book last September, extolling it as "The best kids book of all time."

Lil Nas X also took to Instagram to tout the book on its Jan. 5 publication date.
