There is trouble looming in "Heartstopper" land as Charlie and Nick navigate their friendship-turned-romance in the Season 3 trailer of the hit Netflix coming-of-age show.

In the trailer, Kit Connor as Nick says that he is "really worried" about Charlie, played by Joe Locke. What's more, the trailer seems to hint at a mental health crisis.

"I hate feeling like this. I don't know what to do now," Charlie (played by Joe Locke) says in another scene. The character's mental health struggles were hinted at in the last season.

Along for support this season are Charlie and Nick's friends, including Tara (Corinna Brown), Darcy (Kizzy Edgell), Tao (William Gao), and Elle (Yasmin Finney) as they all battle the trials and tribulations of becoming young adults.

Adding to the mix is "Bridgerton" star Jonathan Bailey, who will guest star as Charlie's celeb crush, Jack Maddox.

"Heartstopper" was adapted from Alice Oseman's graphic novels, which center on two teenage boys in school who find love while learning to grow up. The show has been a hit since it premiered in April, 2022. Everyone's favorite characters are due to return on Oct. 3.
