GLSEN, the leading national education organization focused on ensuring safe and affirming schools for all students, announced its partnership with Burt's Bees for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month in June. Burt's Bees released a new Limited Edition Rainbow Pride Lip Balm Pack and pledged a donation of $10,000 in support of GLSEN's work.

"During LGBT Pride Month, we celebrate how diversity makes our schools, our communities and our world stronger. It's a pleasure to partner with Burt's Bees, a company that shares our commitment to respecting all people, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression," said Dr. Eliza Byard, GLSEN Executive Director. "We thank Burt's Bees, a company headquartered in North Carolina, for taking a particularly meaningful step in standing up for transgender, lesbian, gay, and bisexual people so visibly at this important moment."

"As a member of the North Carolina community and an employer of LGBT people, Burt's Bees affirms the rights and opportunities of all LGBT citizens. We value diversity and inclusion in all cases, and in light of recent events in our home state of North Carolina, we stand firmly against any act or institutionalization of discrimination in any public or private venue," said Burt's Bees General Manager, Jim Geikie.

Available now, the Limited Edition Pack features rainbow graphics on the exterior and includes a rainbow of six flavors of Burt's Bees lip balm - Pomegranate, Mango, Beeswax, Eucalyptus, Vanilla Bean and Acai Berry - each infused with natural ingredients like beeswax, rich oils and nourishing butters to hydrate lips. The Limited Edition Pack is available at a limited number of Target stores, www.Target.com and www.burtsbees.com.
