Is Carl Nassib dating Olympic swimmer Søren Dahl? Speculation swirled after Dahl posted a photo of himself with the out NFL player and Nassib responded with heart emojis.
"We noticed Dahl today after he posted a photo of himself and Carl Nassib on Instagram," LGBTQ+ athletics site OutSports reported.
"Nassib left some red hearts on the photo, prompting some to guess the two are dating. Nassib has appeared in other posts by Dahl over the last few months," OutSports added.
"Ooooh are we IG official?? ❤️" one follower posted in response to Dahl's photo of himself and Nassib.
"The couple that keeps giving..." another enthused.
Another said, "@carlnassib is so lucky! ❤️"
While no one knows — yet — whether those theories are correct, what is known is that Dahl hasn't been hiding his gay flame in the closet. Casual acknowledgement of his authentic self is something that the athlete, who swam for Denmark in the 2016 Olympics, "has been sharing in occasional social-media posts for about the last year, since the Tokyo Olympics," OutSports detailed.
"Most of the posts have been fun Tiktok videos he's shared, drinking iced coffee, dancing in clubs and marching in a Pride parade," the site added.
