The AutoCamp staff was friendly and welcoming, giving the best customer service that I had received in a long time. From check-in to check-out, the high quality never wavered. The staff was very informative and helpful with all our questions and requests. It was a 5-star experience.
The hotel-like amenities will make all campers happy. The Airstream comes with a kitchenette with kitchen essentials, mini fridge, microwave, and a French press with ground coffee. The spacious bedroom has a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic bed fitted with high-end linens. The bedside tables have built-in USB ports for charging.
One of the best things about staying in a hotel (in this case, a camper) is the chance to try the soaps and lotions that may be a bit more luxurious than what you use at home. AutoCamp does not disappoint with their choice. The Ursa Major body wash and lotions are wonderful. Since my stay, I have purchased them for my home.
Each Airstream has its own fire pit, so whether you are roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, or star gazing, the firepit is the perfect way to end the night. Don't forget to bring your favorite wine. (You will need to purchase firewood at the clubhouse.)
The camp site is close to Woodneck Beach or Falmouth Beach for a day of swimming and sun, or you could do a day trip to Martha's Vinyard by taking a ferry. If you're a cyclist, bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For biking, there's the 10.7-mile Shining Sea Bikeway that goes from Falmouth to Woods Hole and beyond to North Falmouth.
