An 18-year-old high school student has been charged with second-degree murder after police say he shot his 30-year-old friend in a Florida park, Tampa Bay WTSP 10 News reported.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office claims Marcus Wilson was drinking with his friend Christopher Ashton Martin in Starkey Wilderness Park around 1 a.m. on May 13 - Martin's birthday. The teen told authorities that he passed out on a picnic table and woke up to find Martin performing oral sex on him.

The park is located in New Port Richey, which is part of Pasco County - 17 miles east of Tampa Bay.

Wilson said he lost his temper and kicked his friend in the back, which caused him to fall to the ground. The 18-year-old then allegedly used Martin's gun, which was lying on the table, and fatally shot him.

Wilson also claimed that he then covered up Martin's body with a sleeping bag, cleaned up the area, took his friend's wallet and car and drove off. He also used $40 from Martin's wallet to fill the car's tank with gas.

Authorities say that they found Martin's gun, wallet and car at Wilson's apartment.

New Port Richey Patch reports that Wilson, a student at Mavericks High of North Pinellas County (a school for kids that have dropped out or are at high risk of dropping out), is being held without bail.

Last December a 19-year-old from New York was sentenced to 25 years-to-life in prison for killing a 47-year-old radio host he met on the Internet.

John Katehis, who says he is straight, answered George Weber's Craigs List ad and agreed to be paid $60 for a night of "violent sex" at Weber's New York City apartment. The encounter got out of control and Katehis stabbed Weber more than 50 times.

The defense argued that Weber gave the teen alcohol, which "made him jumpy," but blood tests showed that there were no controlled substances or alcohol in Katehis' system.
