Police Work to Extract Video from Zimmerman iPad
A police spokesman says that law enforcement analysts are having difficulty extracting video from an iPad used by the wife of George Zimmerman, which remains key in determining whether either will face charges after a domestic dispute.
Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said at a news conference Wednesday that an iPad used by Shellie Zimmerman to record an argument with her estranged husband is in "bad shape." He says it could be several weeks or months before its video is analyzed because investigators don't currently have the necessary tools to extract it.
Hudson says without an examination of the footage, he doesn't expect there to be an imminent charges against either person.
A police report on the incident is expected to be released this afternoon.
