Fan (Hater?) Sugar-Bombs Adam Levine in the Face
Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine was hit in the face with powdered sugar by a fan (or a hater) before he and his band performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Levine was sugar-bombed while signing autographs for fans outside the late night talk show's Hollywood theater. The prankster dumped a bag of powdered sugar over the pop star's head, which is probably a wink at Maroon 5's latest chart-topping single "Sugar."
A source told the Hollywood Reporter that the assailant was arrested.
According to the same source, the alleged attacker also threw a rock at Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson last week. Apparently this person likes to get very literal with their attacks on celebs.
A representative for "Kimmel" confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that the show contacted police about the incident.
"Immediately after the incident occurred, Jimmy Kimmel Live security followed protocol and alerted LAPD, who responded quickly and are looking into the situation," the statement reads.
