Kathy Griffin Reshares Graphic Trump Pic on Twitter

Wednesday November 4, 2020

Comedian Kathy Griffin again shared a controversial photo of Donald Trump's severed head on social media, Pink News reports.

In the early hours Wednesday morning, after President Trump prematurely claimed victory in the 2020 Presidential election, Griffin posted the image to Twitter.

Griffin first posted the image in 2017, after which she received backlash from Trump, was fired from CNN, estranged by long-term friends such as Anderson Cooper, and investigated by the FBI. Griffin initially issued an apology, retracted it shortly after, and has since been a regular critic of the President.

In May, after the President asked on Twitter whether he should be using insulin while mulling plans to cut costs for diabetic seniors, Griffin responded, "syringe with nothing but air inside it would do the trick." Shortly after, she shared an article by the Washington Examiner reporting that "@KathyGriffin advocates for someone to stab @realDonaldTrump with syringe full of air," to which she responded "I SURE DID, FUCKER. #TrumpLiedPeopleDied"
