EDGE Publications Launches National Gay News and Entertainment Network

New York, NY - EDGE Publications, Inc. today announced the official launch of EDGEnewyork.com, the media network's fifth major online publication, as part of a new national initiative.
EDGEnewyork.com is devoted to serving the Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender community of Manhattan and its five boroughs. The portal delivers eight major channels of information to its readers, including daily local/national news, business & finance, weather, arts & entertainment, heath & fitness, style, sports and travel. An additional number of channels provide local coverage of nightlife, shopping, lodging, dining, plus a local business directory and calendar of events.
The site joins a family of market-leading online publications currently serving up sixteen million pages to more than 200,000 unique visitors per month that includes EDGEboston.com (Boston MA), EDGEptown.com (Provincetown MA), EDGEprovidence.com (Providence RI) and EDGEnewengland.com (the company's regional publication for the Northeast United States).
