EDGE Media Network and One Magical Weekend Launch iOS App

EDGE Media Network, the world's largest LGBT digital media network, and Let's Go Play, the promoters behind the popular One Magical Weekend parties hosted during "gay days" in Orlando each June, today announced the availability of the official One Magical Weekend iOS app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Available as a free download from Apple's App Store, the new app provides information and dynamic party elements to support Riptide! at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Waterpark, Red Shirts Create the Magic at Magic Kingdom®, and Drink Around the World and Retro-T at Epcot©.
The app offers news about the weekend's activities, a full event listing, official photo albums and more. Plus, in an interesting twist, attendees can take pics from their own iPhones during the weekend and upload them directly to the app.

"All weekend long people can upload photos of their friends - and those in Orlando and around the world can load up the app and view, almost real-time, what's happening in the theme parks and during One Magical Weekend's parties."
As an incentive, those who shoot the most and best photos on location will earn a suite of prizes, including iTunes Gift Cards, Blu-ray discs, beach balls, sunglasses, movie passes and a host of other goodies.
