Drawing in more than 200,000 people in total, St. Pete Pride, Florida's largest Pride event, is a colorful festival featuring art, music and performances at exciting locations throughout the area.
The celebration kicks off on June 26 with a Block Party along Central Avenue with DJs, and delicious food and beverages. This year, Alex Newell from Glee will make history headlining the first free and outdoor "27/82" fundraising concert to help raise money for various community organizations. The main event, the LGBT Pride Parade, rolls off at sunset on June 27 and features more than 150 national and regional organizations and businesses celebrating and supporting diversity.
Other event highlights include: the Pride Street Festival on June 28 with live performances, community booths, art and fantastic food, Pride Day @ The Trop as the Rays take on the White Sox, "Pride in Fashion" presented by Macy's Tyrone Square Mall and hosted by E! Network personality and RuPaul's Drag Race judge, Ross Mathews, and for all the runners out there: the Pride 5K on June 27.
