Lara Fabian and the LGBT Communities: A Love Story
The love story between Lara Fabian and the LGBT communities is a long-standing romance. In 2013, during an evening in support of marriage equality held at the Thtre du Rond-Point in Paris, Lara Fabian sang part of "Deux 'Ils,' deux 'Elles,'" an ode to the love between two men and two women. Her sensitivity toward same-sex love also gave birth to the song "La diffrence," a genuine plea for the respect of love. A true "gay icon" adored by millions of fans, Lara Fabian carries with her the message of love for all.
"In the beginning, we would never have thought it possible to attract an artist of such international renown as Lara Fabian," said ric Pineault, President of Montral Pride. "Ten years later, our wildest dreams are coming true, and we have the chance to offer our festival-goers nothing less than one of the biggest stars of francophone song in the world. It's an honour to welcome this fabulous singer."
