Watch: Woman's Proposal to Cop Girlfriend at London Pride Goes Viral
Love was in the air at London Pride Saturday!
A video posted to Twitter showing a woman proposing to her girlfriend, a police officer working the event, has gone viral, the Metro reports.
Pride-goers were cheering as the woman got down on one knee and popped the question to her partner. The officer said "yes," of course!
The officer has been identified as only Dizzy and her partner, Jane, according to New Now Next.
This isn't the only proposal involving a police officer to go viral at London Pride. Phil Adlem, a cop working the event in 2016, proposed to his boyfriend and also went viral. However, he wrote in a Guardian piece this month that he regrets his decision to pop the question at a public event, citing hateful online responses.
The video involving the latest engagement was posted to Twitter by the British Transport Police's official account. Since being shared on July 8, the clip has earned nearly 12,000 retweets and almost 36,000 likes.
