Richmond’s Gay-Owned Hostelry Honored in 2012 TripAdvisor Awards
RICHMOND, VA - Gay-owned Richmond Virginia bed and breakfast Maury Place at Monument was chosen as a winner in the category Top 25 B&Bs and Inns in the United States by TripAdvisor in its 2012 Travellers' Choice� awards. The only Virginia bed and breakfast among the top 25, the inn was selected based upon reviews by guests on Trip Advisor, the world's largest traveler review website.
Opened in the fall of 2008, Maury Place at Monument is a luxury four room bed and breakfast located in Richmond's Museum District, overlooking Monument Avenue.
Maury Place is walking distance to the Richmond Triangle Players, one of the premier LGBT theaters on the East Coast, as well as popular Richmond attractions such as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Virginia Historical Society Museum, and the Carytown shopping district.
