PopUps: Find Out How 'AHS: Hotel' is Connected to Past Seasons
[Warning: Spoilers for "American Horror Story: Hotel" are ahead!]
Last year, "American Horror Story" show runner Ryan Murphy revealed all the seasons of the FX anthology series are connected. Fans saw the connection during "AHS: Freak Show," which explained how Pepper the pinhead ended up in Massachusetts and at the Briarcliff Mental Institution, which is the location for Season Two, "AHS: Asylum."
But the connections don't stop there! Entertainment Weekly has the details about the connection between the upcoming season "AHS: Hotel," starring Lady Gaga, will see ties to the season that started it all, "AHS: Murder House."
Fans who were with the show from the beginning will certainly remember the annoying real estate agent Marcy (Christine Estabrook) -- she sold the Harmon family the haunted house that contained ghosts of the people who died there. Marcy will also appear in "Hotel" this fall, acting as an agent for the titular Hotel Cortez.
"They're all connected," Murphy said last year. "We're just beginning to tell you how they're connected. They're all very separate but there's clues every season that we're now telling you how the different worlds are intertwined."
EW also has a cover story on "Hotel," featuring Gaga, and also reports details on the anticipated season, which apparently includes pseudo-vampires and, of course, murders.
"AHS: Hotel" boasts an ensemble cast, including "AHS" veterans Sarah Paulson, Even Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Lily Rabe, Wes Bentley, Emma Roberts, Dennis O'Hare, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, and Mare Winningham. Newcomers include, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Max Greenfield, Naomi Campbell, Madchen Amick, Darren Criss and more.
"Hotel" premieres Oct. 7 on FX.
