Justin Bieber is coming under fire Friday after allegedly leaving a shady comment on a tribute Instagram post about Prince from guitarist Andrew Watt, Us Weekly reports.

In the wake of Prince's sudden death, Watt posted a touching post to Instagram, writing in part that the "Purple Rain" legend is "the last of the greatest living performers."

But apparently, Bieber, 22, wasn't moved, and, according to a screen shot circulating around social media, wrote: "Well not the last greatest living performer."


Whether or not he meant to be disrespectful in his reported comment, it didn't take long before Prince fans came after the "Where Are U Now" hitmaker.
