PopUps: Cher Will 'Leave the Planet' if Trump Wins Election
Cher might be heading to a galaxy far, far away this week should Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election.
The music icon hosted a fund-raiser for Hillary Clinton last Thursday and told a crowd that if Trump is elected president Tuesday, "I'm gonna have to leave the planet," according to Page Six.
Cher said some supporters of the GOP presidential candidate have called her a "libtard." She added that she once disliked "the dreaded millennials," but now believes they are key to politics.
"Young people with fresh ideas and .?.?. energy is what we need," she said, according to Page Six. "We're fading. Not fast, but we're fading."
Cher has been very vocal about her opposition of Trump.
At an August fundraiser for Clinton, Cher commented on Trump, saying, "He doesn't mean we want to make America great again. He means we want to make America straight and white." She also said that she was reminded of "despots, you know Stalin and Hitler."
