PopUps: Emma Watson Says She's Not Single but 'Self-Partnered'
In a new interview with British Vogue, actor Emma Watson explained that she doesn't see herself as single but instead said she prefers to call herself "self-partnered" as she approaches turning 30 years old.
Watson's comments come as she opened up about turning 30 next year. The "Harry Potter" star said she doesn't get the "fuss" about the milestone.
"If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you're not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you're still figuring things out," she told Vogue, later adding, "There's just this incredible amount of anxiety."
Watson, who stars in the upcoming remake of "Little Women," then said that she never believed the "'I'm happy single spiel.'"
"It took me a long time, but I'm very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered," she added.
