An Australian professional rugby player spoke out about a leaked adult, same-sex video in which he's seen in a glory hole scene.

"Kurt Capewell has broken his silence on a sex tape scandal that has haunted him privately for years after a video filmed in 2013 resurfaced in recent days," writes the Sporting News.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph (behind a firewall), Capewell claims he was coerced into appearing in the adult film shoot seven years ago.

'I've lived with this for years. I've been concerned more for my family that it could come out and the embarrassment it would cause,'Capewell toldThe Daily Telegraph.

"The 49-minute video was recorded in 2013, when the Penrith Panthers player was working as a carpenter while starting out his rugby league career in local teams," writes the Daily Mail.

He told the Telegraph that he answered a modeling ad for a sports clothing and underwear company. During the shoot he was offered to make more money with a porn shoot. He agreed. During the shoot he was led to a glory hole and was told there was a woman on the other side of the wall.

He sent a text to his teammates about the tape:

"Bit hard to put the full story into words but I was broke and doing some modelling, then I got talked into doing a porno. Unknown to me but it turned out they put a bloke on the other side of the wall," he wrote.

"I'm terribly embarrassed and ashamed even though it happened when I was so young.

"It's something I've been dealing with for the past 8 years behind closed doors and I know you will all have my back and stand by me moving forward."

"Capewell, who has a long term girlfriend, said the incident is a reminder to young people to be careful when being offered money for photoshoots," writes the Daily Mail.
