EDGE Rewind: The 10 Hottest NBA Players of the Season

EDGE is reaching into its archive and sharing some of our favorite stories from the past.

The NBA season is starting to get into full swing as the Christmas Day games approach and teams get closer to the halfway point of the season. This means fan interest will start to pick up as the playoffs near, and viewers will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the sexiest stars in the league taking the court. We've decided to make a collection of the basketball players who are sure to make you swoon this season!

Cade Cunningham

Cade Cunningham was the first overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He unfortunately recently injured his shin and will be out for the rest of the 2022-2023 season, but the exciting young star for the Detroit Pistons has already made his mark in the league by being named to the 2022 NBA All-Rookie First Team. Cunningham's scoring ability is just as enticing for fans to watch as his good looks, as he's averaged nearly 18 points per game so far in his professional career.

Kyle Kuzma

Although he currently plays for the Washington Wizards, Kyle Kuzma first came to fame on the Los Angeles Lakers. He helped LeBron James and Anthony Davis carry the franchise to their 17th NBA championship during the 2020 season. Kuzma also has a unique sense of fashion off the court, constantly showing off his flamboyant outfits and sexy body tattoos on Instagram.

Trae Young

Trae Young has been in the spotlight going back to his college days with the Oklahoma Sooners. The point guard has blossomed into one of the best perimeter players in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks, a team that he led to the Eastern Conference Finals during the 2021 season before falling to the eventual champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. Young also became a new father this year, and he isn't afraid to flash his chiseled physique online for fans to thirst over.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is one of the most underrated players in the NBA, perhaps because he plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Canadian previously played for the Los Angeles Clippers before being swapped for Paul George back in 2019. OKC is one of the smaller markets in the league, but Gilgeous-Alexander's crazy scoring output and steamy workout routines are sure to light the NBA ablaze for many years to come.

Ja Morant

Ja Morant is one of the most jaw-dropping players in the NBA right now. He was taken 2nd overall in the 2019 NBA Draft after Zion Williamson. Combining Russell Westbrook's intensity with Derrick Rose's jumping ability, Morant is poised to lead the Memphis Grizzlies deep into the NBA playoffs in the near future after succumbing to the defending champion Golden State Warriors last season. Morant's confidence and bright smile combine to add to his sex appeal.

Tyler Herro

Tyler Herro first came to prominence with the ultra-successful college basketball team, the Kentucky Wildcats. He was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2019 and has played a pivotal role in the storied franchise's success ever since then. Herro won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in 2022, a season in which the Heat were one game away from the NBA Finals. Herro has been one of the league's most swoon-worthy players for several years now, even attracting an underwear endorsement with PSD.

Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons has had a controversial career to say the least. He won NBA Rookie of the Year in 2018 after missing his entire 2017 season due to injury. Many fans thought he should have been disqualified from winning the trophy since it wasn't his actual rookie season. His lack of jumpshot angered fans in Philadelphia, but he's started to get his game back on track with the Brooklyn Nets. His attractiveness has never been in question, though. Simmons' good looks have led to relationships with Kendall Jenner and Maya Jama.

Jalen Green

Jalen Green is the one bright spot on the Houston Rockets right now. H-Town hasn't been a very good team since James Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, but Green's scoring output and exuberant play have given Texans a little bit of hope for the future. Green isn't bad to look at either, as he possesses a charismatic grin and the confidence to adorn his nails with black polish.

Jordan Poole

The man who's supposed to take the torch from Stephen Curry in the Bay Area certainly has the vibes to accompany such a responsibility. Jordan Poole has a swag that is equal parts innocent and bad-boyish. Fans often joke that Poole plays better when there are baddies sitting courtside, and his sexy and goofy personality will continue to entrance Warriors fans for years to come after he signed a contract extension with the team in the summer of 2022.

LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball had a lot of expectations placed on him ever since he was in high school in Chino Hills, California. His brother, Lonzo, is a great point guard for the Chicago Bulls and his father, Lavar, is one of the biggest hype-man parents in the league. LaMelo Ball was supposed to be great, and he has been in his three seasons for the Charlotte Hornets. Ball is one of the most endorsed players in the league due to his incredible passing skills and sexy confidence off the court.
