Watch: Shawn Mendes Proves He's A Real Canadian
Shawn Mendes is an Uber pop prince, but he's also a Canadian at heart. In a now viral video, Mendes is seen plunging into snow wearing just a pair of short shorts.
The 25-year-old singer-songwriter looks happy as a clam and very much in his element in the video shared Sunday, Jan. 7.
"You can take the boy outta Canada," Mendes captioned the clip with a quip. But he admitted in the video, "This is cold, bro."
In another video, Mendes is seen sledding down a hill and wiping out. Then he makes snow angels in another.
On Jan. 2, the pop star shared a reflective message on Instagram, writing: "The biggest lesson for me this year has been to accept and welcome the lows of life... not to constantly need to change or fix something in order to feel high again, because i know if i really slow down and listen when i'm low there's always something to hear."
