Training for Superhero Role, Noah Centineo Teases Hot Thirst-trap
A week ago bromancing hunks Jacob Elordi ("Euphoria") and Noah Centineo ("To All the Boys") were spotted together heading to work out in West Hollywood. This week Centineo showed how his workouts are paying off in a trending Instagram post.
"Thirst trap by @kirkmyersfitness" reads the text accompanying a black-and-white pic of the ripped actor. The reason? "The 24-year-old heartthrob now has bulging muscles in preparation for his upcoming role as Albert Rothstein, aka Atom Smasher, in the DC Extended Universe's 'Black Adam,'" writes E! Online.
In a February 23 interview with the Australian radio show "Smallzy's Surgery," Centineo "explained how he bulked up to keep in step with the movie's star—Dwayne Johnson—by increasing his daily calorie intake to over 6,000!" E! Adds.
"Last time I gained, I was eating 6,500 calories a day," he recalled, "but this time will not be as bad." At one point, he noted beginning his days with 12 eggs, steak, potatoes and a couple bowls of oatmeal."
With Covid closing down production for a brief period, Centineo is able to work out for two hours a day.
Centineo's break-out role was in Netflix's 2018 teen romantic comedy "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" and its subsequent sequels, last year's "To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You" and this year's "To All the Boys: Always and Forever." And being a break-out male lead in a Netflix teen romantic comedy is something he shares with Elordi, who became an overnight star from being part of Netflix's "The Kissing Booth" franchise.
The bffs were seen along with Centineo's "To All the Boys" co-star Ross Butler earlier this month in a funny Instagram post that imagined a new version of the Hollywood comedy "Three Men and a Baby" with Elordi and Butler playing parents to baby Centineo when he is left on their doorstep, as Butler describes in the post.
"Movie pitch: think 2 Men and a Baby. Jacob works down at the docks. Union is still on strike; he's down on his luck. It's tough. I'm just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit. I'm about to take the midnight train going anywhere. Noah appears on our doorstep with nothing but a diaper on. His hair reminds me of a one safe place where as a child I'd hide and pray for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by. I decide not to get on that midnight train. Jacob and I agree to raise Noah as our own, despite being fully aware that Noah is in fact a grown ass man masquerading as a baby but we don't have the heart to tell him that we know. Nor do we care. Fin."
And both Elordi and Centineo have teased fans about their sexuality with pics of them kissing other men, Elordi with his bud Tommy Dorfman and Centineo with co-star Chase Austin. Centineo, though, pointed out on Instagram that the pic is an example of non-sexual intimacy between friends of the same sex, writing on the now deleted post:
"Kiss your friend's faces more, destroy the belief that intimacy must be reserved for monogamous relationships. Be more loving. EMBRACE PLATONIC INTIMACY," he wrote in the caption of the now-deleted picture. "Embrace vulnerability use Emotionality as a radical tactic against a society which teaches you that emotions are a sign of weakness. Tell more people that you care about them. Hold their hands, tell others you are proud of them. offer support readily. Take care of the people around you."
