Boston Celebrates 25 Years Preventing LGBT Partner Abuse
On April 24, 2014 The Network/La Red will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a rockin' gala fundraiser at The Center for the Arts at the Armory, Somerville, MA. The event will feature performances by local artists and the fabulous "RuPaul's Drag Race" All-Star, Jujubee!
Join hundreds of community members to celebrate survival, enjoy performances and dance the night away. There will be delicious food from local economic justice organization Haley House, along with amazing desserts from JP Licks and Kickass Cupcakes.
Throughout the night they will hold a silent auction with more than 100 auction items ranging from gift cards to popular local restaurants and artwork by local artists, to relaxing weekend getaways.
Get an early bid on your favorite items during the online auction available through their website. The online auction will close April 21 and go live again at the event.
There will also be dazzling performances by the JP Song Group, spoken word artist Idalia, drag artist and trickster Miss Nicholle Pride, and none other than RuPaul's Jujubee.
Following the performances will be a meet and greet with Jujubee and your chance to dance to music by DJ Universe-AL. It will be a night you certainly do not want to miss!
