Transgender Community Holds NYC Day of Action
New York City's transgender community is holding its 10th annual Day of Action.
The advocacy group GLAAD says a march and rally will be held in Manhattan on Friday afternoon.
Participants will decry violence and discrimination while celebrating strides made by the movement.
The march begins at 2 p.m. at the Christopher Street Pier.
GLAAD is an advocate for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
