11-Year-Old Goes Viral Writing Anti-Trump Slogans on Neighbors' Sidewalks
A Twitter post has gone viral about Fiona, an 11-year-old girl, writing "Black Lives Matter" and more in chalk on the sidewalks in front of the homes of neighbors with Trump yard signs, Pink News reports.
The post by the girl's older sister @causekryssaidso read: "Y'ALL so APPARENTLY my sister has been writing things like [Black Lives Matter], [All Cops are B******s], and [F**k Trump] on the sidewalks in front of people's houses who have Trump signs and this dude put up a camera to catch who it is. Imagine his surprise to find out it's a little 11-year-old lesbian with blue hair on a bike."
When the neighbor confronted the girls' mother Brandy — "angrily" at the family's door "in his MAGA hat and mask" — she was initially not pleased and grounded Fiona. However, after the Tweet went viral, many users commended the girl. One Twitter user urged the mother, "Ma'am on behalf of a grown Latina lesbian let me just say thanks to this lil' baby gay and that she doesn't deserve to be grounded for this. Sticking up for POC is very worthy and the things MAGAs stand for are far worse than cuss words."
Brandy eventually relented and took to twitter to say "#princessfiona is no longer grounded. #thepeoplehavespoken"
She also added that Fiona was "devastated to realize she was making [Trump supporting neighbors] feel like she felt. She learned a lesson that standing up for what you believe in is one thing, tearing someone down to do it is another."
