Is J.K. Rowling Up to Her Transphobic Trolling Tricks?
Is "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling up to her transphobic trolling tricks again? Sadly, it seems so.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the embattled author has been accused of mocking a transgender football manager by comparing her to a "straight, white, middle-aged bloke."
Rowling reportedly made the comment under a post on X that celebrated referee Lucy Clap, who became the first trans manager in the top five divisions of English Women's football when she signed on to Sutton United in January.
"Proud and honoured to be given the opportunity to manage such a fantastic club. Hard work starts now," Clark wrote about her position in January.
Under a post, Rowling wrote, "When I was young all the football managers were straight, white, midd aged blokes, so it's fantastic to see how much things have changed."
And social media users immediately jumped on the comment as "cruel."
"Just call people what they want to be called. It's basic decency," said one social media commentator.
Another added, "You keep telling trans women that they're not allowed to call themselves women, even though they are."
But Rowling didn't back down and went full TERF.
When one social media commentator said: "hahah yes so funny a billionaire made fun of a minority! man, love me some punching down!!"
Rowling responded with, "You're right. No demographic is more vulnerable and oppressed than large, tattooed crossdressers who get plum jobs in women's sport. I don't know how I can have been so cruel."
We won't spread the hate Rowling posted on the other posts, but it is safe to say that she has gone full "Death Eater."
