Some do Pride in style. Others do it in super-style.

Of all the Pride festivals in the world, none 'glams it up' more than L.A.'s. So if you're doin' it Hollywood style this year, why not posh it up at Beverly Hills' SLS Hotel? Even your slinkiest friends will be majorly impressed.

SLS is celebrating a double-whammy anniversary: the 40th year of LA Pride (this year, June 11-13) and the 20th (can it really be that long?) birthday of The Abbey Food & Bar (recently voted the best bar in the country by Gay Cities... although my editor would beg to disagree).

L.A. Pride :: Big package, Small price...

Revelry? Luxury? Big yes on both counts. Bigger bonus: the hotel is offering special Pride Room Rates with a huge basket (ahem) of extras. Among them, VIP access and free transportation to and from The Abbey - a stone's throw from the epicenter of WeHo Pride - plus a $50 credit for the very tony Ciel Spa at SLS Hotel. Even better, they're throwing in complimentary parking valet service all weekend long (big money saver there); a personal LGBT specialist concierge; and 500 bonus Starpoints for the Starwood Preferred Guest program.

Packages begin at $319; call 866-716-8136 and ask for the PRIDE rate plan, or check out their website for more details and to make a reservation.

Some "deets" for the style queens: Designed by none-cooler Philippe Starck, the seven-story hotel features 61 luxuriously appointed suites, including seven lifestyle suites with Technogym Kinesis Personal equipment and 32 allergen-resistant Pure rooms. Bazaar, the restaurant helmed by Jos Andrs, features a modern-day indoor piazza and a vibrant international menu of note.

If it weren't for all the Pride festivities, you'd never want to leave the hotel. See you on the boulevard!
