The 1st Annual "Pride Idol" hosted by Beyond Labels at Fort Washington Collegiate Church LGBTQI Ministry will take place on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Fort Washington Collegiate Church, 729 West 181 Street in NYC. This popular gala concert event is a musical celebration of LGBTQ Pride in recognition of what Pride is all about, diversity, acceptance and activism.

While the event is free, we'll also be asking for donations for the Ali Forney Center, which works to support LGBTQ homeless youth. Dinner will include a "Taste of Fort Washington" cuisine from the various eateries from the neighborhood.

Hosted by Beyond Labels LGBTQI Ministry, the area's finest performers will take center stage and will be judged by a VIP list of celebrities only a NYC Pride can have. Guest MC and Judge Rainere Martin, a Donna Summer tribute artist will perform the Disco Queen's greatest hits. NYC television personality and VH1 and Food Network host Bobby Rivers will also be on hand to judge the performances. Also performing will be Comedian Rich Kiamco and drag queen Jeza Belle.

Beyond Labels Co-Chair, Thos Shipley noted, "The Annual Pride Idol is a seriously fun event that will make audience members, swoon, smile, cheer and laugh all in one night."
