San Diego Pride Parade :: July 16, 2011
The annual San Diego LGBT Pride Parade is the 5th largest in the United States attracting over 150,000 spectators. This year, in addition to the standard turnout of GLBT supportive businesses, politicians and groups marching in the parade, about 200 US active-duty troops and veterans also marched with American flags and banners, thanks to the recent end of the military ban on openly gay troops.

San Diego’s Pride Festival included multiple entertainment stages with over 80 musicians, bands, comedy and dance performers, 300 vendor booths, a Beer Garden, a farmer’s market, an art exhibit and plenty of great food and fun!
