PopUps: 'Big Brother 17' Cast Revealed
It's that time of the year again: When Julie Chen is on your TV three times a week!
CBS revealed the houseguest list for "Big Brother 17" Tuesday morning, which includes a professional wrestler, a supermarket cashier and a poker player. It also looks like it's the youngest cast the popular reality show has ever had, as the oldest player is just 33.
It's also interesting that there are only 14 players this time around -- "Big Brother" seasons usually have 16 or more players. But as the "BB" motto goes: "expect the unexpected," so don't be surprised if there is a twist right after and a few returning players come back to the house.
"Big Brother 17" premiers June 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. EST and will be on three times a week: Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursday.
Check out some of the houseguests, who will try to out wit each other for 97 days to claim the $500,000 first place prize, below and a full list (via Entertainment Weekly) after that.
Austin Matelson may be one of the most talked-about houseguests for the pre-season. He's a professional wrestler, aka Judas, but has "a master's degree in medieval history." His bio also says that "his looks are deceiving, as he is a flower child who does a yoga stance as opposed to beating down his opponent."
Da'Vonne Rogers is a poker dealer who comes from a religious family but has "gone against the grain." As a poker dealer, she's studied the game and done the competitions along with the Houseguests while watching the show. She knows she needs to learn each person well, even though she doesn't like to team-up with people."
Jason Roy is from Fall River, Mass., and "has got a big mouth on him." His bio says he is "never one to shy away from conflict" and "has always got along better with women and plans on having an all-female alliance." He will make sure to sass up this season!
Meg Maley is a server who lives in the Big Apple. She "doesn't take herself too seriously" and is "super competitive." She also said she "has what it takes to win "Big Brother" because she is "likable, goofy, intelligent and adapts to every social situation." But will her self-described boy crazy ways get her in trouble?
Clay Honeycutt is a graduate student at Texas A&M and was a former college football player. According to his bio he "graduated in only three-and-a-half years and says he's smarter than people give him credit for." Currently, he is getting his master's in sports management.
