PopUps: Bieber Felt 'Super Violated' After Nude Pics Went Viral
After threatening legal action, Justin Bieber is opening up about the full frontal nude pictures that were taken of him while on vacation in Bora Bora and published in The New York Daily News earlier this month.
The "Where Are U Now" singer seems to have a good attitude about it all, but told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush he was shocked to see his nudes plastered all over the internet.
"That was shrinkage for me," Bieber said in a preview of the interview that is expected to air on Monday, according to the Daily Mail.
"My first thing was like, how can they do this? Like, I feel super violated. Like, I feel like I can't step outside and feel like I can go outside naked," the 21-year-old pop star said. "You should feel comfortable in your own space - especially that far away."
As the Daily Mail notes, Bieber was on vacation with model Jayde Pierce when he took a dip in a private pool, totally naked. Since the pics hit the web, it was reported that Bieber's legal team was threading legal action even though the "Boyfriend" singer was happy with the public's reaction to his fully nude body. We know Bieber's father, Jeremy Bieber, was pleased. In a now-deleted tweet, the singer's dad wrote: "What do you feed that thing? #proud daddy."
Despite the nudie drama, Bieber is concentrating on new music and finally scored his first no. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with "What Do You Mean?" (that's right, "Baby" never reached the top spot).
"To have a Billboard No. 1 is really special...I think I'm the youngest person to debut at No. 1, which is pretty awesome," he told Bush.
Bieber's new album, "Purpose," is set to drop on Nov. 13 and his new single "Sorry" will be out next week.
