Thursday May 17, 2012

Portland, Maine - The Events Team at Maine magazine announced that on June 7 Cellardoor Winery will transform the Farley Estate in Kennebunk into Maxim's de Paris for Pop the Kennebunks. This French-inspired evening of revelrie will officially kick the Kennebunkport Festival off in high style.

"Whenever we put on an event we want our guests to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience that creates lasting memories," said Bettina Doulton of Cellardoor Winery. "With this year's Parisian theme we'll do our best to, once again, deliver on that promise, " she added.

The event, which is held on a spectacular private estate in Kennebunk, will feature French cuisine prepared by Kitchen Chicks Catering.

"We are so looking forward to this evening," said Leanne Ouimet, Director of Events and Sponsorships at Maine magazine. "I've been to a number of Cellardoor's events and each time I leave one I always think 'how can they ever top this'?" she added.

In addition to incredible food and wine guests will:

Enjoy the sultry jazz vocals of Shelley MacArthur

Swing to the 14-piece Chris Humphrey Band

Be brought to their feet by the incredibly soulful vocals of Alice Tan Ridley.
