The Out Foundation and OUTWOD Launch #WerkFromHome Fitness Videos

Saturday March 28, 2020

The OUT Foundation and OUTWOD are launching their #WerkFromHome daily online fitness classes for and by the LGBTQ+ community beginning on Monday, March 30.

Each week, LGBTQ+ instructors from across the United States will lead classes and anyone can stream the class live for a small donation of $7.

"It is important to us that we support our community in this time of need," said Will Lanier, Executive Director of The OUT Foundation. "With studio and gym closures nationwide, many instructors are left without pay and without a way to survive - so a portion of fundraising from each class will be paid to the instructor for their time and their talent."

Instructors will be offering a variety of classes including HIIT, Yoga, and Meditation. Registration is $7 per class and is tax-deductible.

Those interested can reserve their spot for multiple days and have the ability to donate an additional amount to support The OUT Foundation, if they wish.

Each class will be presented via Zoom and those registered will receive an access code via email 15 minutes prior to class.

The schedule for each week will be released on Sundays via OUTWOD's Instagram, Facebook and on The OUT Foundation's website.

The OUT Foundation also recognizes that many in the LGBTQ+ community may be out of work or unable to extend a donation, and has compiled a list of LGBTQ+ instructors and trainers offering free classes online.
