Pridefest South Florida 2011 started with Fort Lauderdale’s famous Pride Fest at Jaco Pastorius Park, Dixie Highway and NE 40th Ct in Oakland Park. Organized by Pride South Florida, a 501 c-3 non-profit organization consisting of individuals interested in promoting positive images of gays, lesbians, and transgender people. To provide the South Florida community with various functions throughout the year, to promote and engage in educational, civic and cultural activities in order to enrich the lives of gays, lesbians, bisexual, and transgender people and the community as a whole, and to work together to achieve common goals.

What an phenomenal day for Dallas!! Young, old, black, white, gay, straight and everyone in between came out to celebrate the Pride Parade on Saturday. Located in the heart of Oak Lawn at The Allume, Dish is one of several upscale venues located in the posh building. Aside from being an icon in the gay community, Lady Bunny never fails to pack a house and impress us with her unique brand of off beat humor. Edge had a blast crashing this party! EDGE came out to The Brick to kick off Pride Weekend in style with some of the hottest dancers in Dallas. We had a fabulous time visiting with the happy hours crowd and offering tons of giveaways including DVDs, T-shirts, hats, and the brand new Sara Bareilles CD.
